Charade Too, a Ranger 55 was built for the managing director of Chanel 7 as a corporate entertaining vessel. The Ranger design was chosen because of the incredible volume that these vessels provide. Her main saloon area is huge and offers an uncluttered open bright and airy space for entertaining. The saloon area is also completely covered with black shade cloth to cut down heat and glare but provide the ability to get full light and still see out through the large opening windows.

Forward of the saloon down a set of companion way stairs is the large galley / dining area to port with comfortable seating at the table for 6 and to starboard is the large galley area complete with full size eutectic fridge/freezer, 3 hob electric stove with grill/oven and microwave. There is ample storage in cupboards and draws. There is a twin stainless-steel sink and plenty of bench space for preparation of meals.

Forward again and to port is the forward day head and shower which can double as an ensuite to the fwd. large V berth cabin with infill piece creating a large double berth. There is ample locker hanging space and draws for storage of clothing.

The aft main cabin is large with a queen island bed and ensuite head and shower, this cabin also has extensive hanging lockers and draws for storage.

Up onto the main deck off the saloon is a large fully covered teak deck with table and chairs for 6 guests and sink with hot and cold water. Access to the huge hard top fully enclosed fly bridge and sun deck is by 5 stairs, this gives the boat another fully covered space for entertaining or go aft onto the shade cloth protected sun deck.

The flybridge command bridge has had an extensive make over recently with a new Garmin electronics package including 17 inch monitor screen, Autopilot and VHF radio. She also boasts a side power bow thruster and Dockmate wireless controller which allows for easy docking and also the use of the anchor winch.

Powered by 2 Detroit 6V92 turbo aftercooled 550 HP engines which have been fitted with a new muffler system makes this vessel very quiet whilst under way. She also has an 11 KVA generator and 3 KVA Victron inverter charger with more than enough power to run her reverse cycle air conditioning and electric utilities. Solar panels assist with keeping batteries topped up whilst moored.

On her front deck is a large capacity deck crane to lift a substantial tender onto chocks for travelling and storage.

All round, this boat is a very spacious big volume entertainer or live aboard vessel that will provide many good quality hours on the water.
