48' Buizen Mark II Pilot House
"Elevation"- Hull number 29 of the 36 distinguished Buizen 48\'s on the water today. Well known for state-of-the-art and incredible craftsmanship throughout, combined with the proven outstanding performance results, these unique pilothouse yachts are what defines the Buizen product.
With over 10,000 hours dedicated to the design and construction of each semi-customised yacht the Buizen\'s fall into a class of their own. Designed to perform with comfort and efficiency and built to safely withstand the rigours of any and all serious blue-water passages, the Buizen 48\'s ticks all boxes when it comes to a luxurious sailing experience.
Over a relaxed period of almost 12 years, "Elevation" became the fourth Buizen to complete a full global circumnavigation. Built with an open chequebook this Buizen 48 Mark II was fitted out with an encyclopedic inventory of leading marine machinery and technology, expanding its live-aboard, go anywhere capability.
The original and experienced owners fastidiously look after their beauty tremendously. From the annual mechanical servicing to the constant upkeep and maintenance of all else, both internally and externally the boat is as healthy as can be. The sail inventory was replaced in 2015 and the engine was removed and reconditioned in February of 2019. With additions such as the reinforced cockpit hardtop as well as the powerful wind generating D400\'s flying above it, the good ship "Elevation" is well and truly ready to set sail under the command of her next captains.
